    I was in two minds whether to rent this or not, but very glad I did.

    Basic storyline - bloke (music writer) goes out with Sarah Marshall, rubbish but famous american tv actress. He is stupidly in love with her. She dumps him (as you would guess).
    Cut to him on holiday where he meets.... Sarah.. with her new beau, an English rock star (played by Russell Brand!)
    Thus the film begins....
    He is trying to forget the selfish, self-absorbed actress who is bonking (and there are some quite funny bonk scenes with Brand and the actress) the rock star, whilst encountering some interesting people on his holiday in Hawaii.
    (Look out for the surfer teach guy).

    A good watch. Recommended.
