    I wasn't sure what to expect of this one, but it was fun spotting what they'd kept of the old Alice story, and how they's woven it into new up-dated meaning.
    Still surreal, but with a bit more menace...and even unexpected romance - which does no harm to the plot! Good cast, and an Alice that has translated her old childishTemper-tantrums into the control of martial arts.....nice! Enjoyable, and kept me watching the full 2 and a bit hrs.
    Watch if you like :Fantasy, Action/adventure and Romance (just a little dollop!). I liked this better than the Tim Burton version, which looked wonderful but did not keep the plot moving. No problems with this version!
