    Well what can I say...
    Ive never been a massive Mel Gibson fan either as an actor (loved the Lethal Weapon saga but thats about it) or as a director (passions wasnt the best to be deadly honest..). So when I was FORCED to sit down and watch this movie by my over zealous friend, I said to myself 'Fantastic Im just about to waste about 2hrs of my life and its all going to be in ancient Yucatec'.. However I was lovingly suprised by what I was watching..
    The movie is fantastic; Im talking everything about it and Im not exagarrating in any way. The movie itself is beautiful to look at (the coulours are incrediably vibrant), the fact he did not use any famous actors was a good trick as you werent distracted by egos on screen and the storyline was indulging and kept you focusing on the screen and secretly shouting inside for the hero to make it.
    Well done Mel Gibson, you have restored my faith in your ablity in making movies and hope any movie produced from your film studio is as ingaging.
    Watch this movie, its a little gem in a stack crap thats being released nowadays.   2 out of 2 people found this review helpful
