Interesting film ... problematic DVD , 24 September 2008

    It took me ages to watch this short film! To start with, the DVD just paused every time I selected 'play movie'. Then I managed to make things start moving, but could only see a shooting script and no actual film. Then I discovered that there are multiple angles and one is a shooting script and one is the film. But the DVD took a while to settle down to the film angle even after I had worked out that I needed to switch the multiple angles on in 'special features' and the press the angle button on my remote to make any progress at all.

    That said, I enjoyed the film once I finally got to see it. As others have said, it does feel like a rehearsal for Memento (which, in fairness, is probably exactly what it is). But the non-linear timeline and the twists kept my interest. I didn't think the acting was top notch. Worth watching if you are a fan of Nolan's films.
