  The Godfather gets a complete makeover and has never looked better . Grain is apparent throughout the film so don't expect a shiny new version just because it's a blu ray. Colours look great and the daylight scenes are particularly clear and sharp. Some scenes have significant grain which don't look that good but this was probably due to the quality of the original master rather than a dodgy transfer. Well worth a rental, and even a purchase.   5 out of 5 people found this review helpful
