    I love Ken Stott as an actor, and he was excellent in all of the Messiahs.
    I'm watching him playing Rebus in the re-runs on ITV3. The character was first played by John Hannah, another good actor, but he didn't do justice to the character Rebus displayed in the books, he was a bit mamby pamby to be honest. Ken Stott plays Rebus how he should be played, how the writer intended him to be played, hard nosed, take no nonsense and get the job done.

    I'm sad they discontinued both Rebus and the Messiahs. I want to see more Ken Stott.
