The Godfather: The Blackhand Edition
on Wii
(2007)
Certificate:
The other reviews accurately describe what you're getting here. It's a little like Grand Theft Auto in the 1950s in structure - shooting jobs, driving jobs, the usual thing. Graphically its quite good for an early Wii game - particularly impressive are the renderings of the characters in the game. Clothing and hair has detail & texture, faces have moving expressions, skin has blemishes - this all works to gether to help you recognise the many protagonists. The game is a little buggy (it crashed twice) and the aim controls are inaccurate, and its a little too easy, but I thoroughly enjoyed it & played it to completion.
