    I thought this was a brilliant film, a mix of everything..horror/ thriller/ sci fi and a bit of romance to boot. The musical score really helped to enhance the film and the scenes were filled with suspense and intrigue. The lighting and camera angles supported the briliant acting skills of Will Smith to pull together an all together fab film to watch and switch off to. At first, I couldn't work out how one man and his dog in an abandoned city would have so much to say, but the film speaks volumes without that much of a script and Smith's acting in this film is a far cry from that of the 'Men In Black' era. I spent a lot of the film wondering how on earth it was going to end and then when the film concluded in a blast of action I was suprised to find that I was suprised with the ending as I never saw it coming. An utter complete switch of roles from hero to heroine. Unpredictable and fun, with a few good jumps thrown in. Thank god they haven't made a sequel yet as this film stands alone and apart from other 'end of world' films, too good to ruin with a forced ending found in a bad sequel. I'm yet to see Will Smith in another film like this. An excellent decision to have this on his CV!
