    From the same teams that brought you Hero and the House of Flying Daggers comes Asian cinema's most expensive film yet, but more doesn't always mean better..

    I loved the bright colours and fantastic cinematography of 'Daggers' but for this one the brightness has been cranked up to 11, and the garish colours make it a visual onslaught right from the off. The computer enhanced battle scenes distract from the great fight choreography so much that that I also found myself playing a game of spot the CGI warrior when interest began to wane.

    Don't get me wrong, there are some breathtaking scenes but it amounts to a movie that isn't as good as the sum of it's parts, and there are far better examples of this genre out there for anyone who who is interested.

    In short then, While the film isn't bad, it's definately overblown and left me feeling a little underwhelmed after House of Flying Daggers had built my expectations up so high.
