    This movie is an insult to the intelligence. Cliche ridden dialogue, direction, and woeful acting. Totally without any integrity or real feeling for the people involved on both sides.

    Oh yes, and surprise surprise, there's an American gung ho ending as well.

    Herzog you should be bloody ashamed of yourself.

    Go rent 'The Deer Hunter' instead. Now that IS a movie.   4 out of 5 people found this review helpful
