Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Cry...
on DVD (2007)
Starring: Harrison Ford, Shia LaBeouf, Cate Blanchett
Director: Steven Spielberg
Certificate:
Don't get me wrong, I love Indiana Jones films. The character is iconic, the action is always fast paced and the theme tune alone makes all the hair on my body stand to attention. As with the previous films, the main theme of this movie is based on established myth and legend, but with a Hollywood twist. These twist are often a little daft but on this occasion we've moved into the realms of the down right ludicrous! The ending for me was SO disappointing I wanted to pull out my eyes so I didn't have to look at it anymore! It was almost as ridiculous as the refrigerator scene towards the start of he film. That said, the action sequences in the middle of the film are as good as ever and the chemistry between Indy and Marion was very believable. I really wish I could erase this film from my memory as it's completely spoiled the franchise.
