    Knowing what happens doesn't detract from the tension; Quite the opposite. You spend a lot of the film waiting for that single moment when a perfectly routine, mundane domestic flight turns into an inevitable tragedy. You even feel the heart-pounding tension of the hijackers themselves. 2 other things I particularly liked: the lack of gung-ho hollywood heriosm - 'let's roll' is just a comment, not a scene stealer. Also, a lot of the actual air traffic control personnel involved on that fateful day play themselves.   2 out of 2 people found this review helpful
