  • Wild Things on DVD (1998)
Starring: Kevin Bacon,  Matt Dillon,  Neve Campbell
    Director: John McNaughton

I'd avoided 'Wild Things' for a long time because I expected it to be selacious tripe, and I wasn't wrong. However, I enjoyed it more than I should have. The films pirmary saving grace is that it's not nearly as predictable as you think it's going to be, you start by thinking you know exactly what's going to happen, then 45 minutes in, everything you thought was going to happen has happened and there's still another 45 minutes left! The plot then takes a series of twists that keep you interested for a time, then after a while you really don't care what happens anymore.
The final scene makes the whole sordid affair worthwhile in my opinion, and I will most likely watch this film again, though I won't be proud of myself.
