    An excellent film, not so much for the moving story as for the settings in post-WW2 Berlin, devastated by RAF and American bombing, and for the use of actual Berlin residents and American servicemen of the time. Extraordinary film footage , including some of Templefof airport and DC4 aircraft.
    For me, it brought history to life.
