    I can't believe I sat through all of this!! I love foreign films and think the japanese do horror better than the rest but this was totally out of context. It wasn't a horror it was a social studies student film, or a 2 hour long trailer for silent hill.
    I won't bore you with the premise as other people can tell you that, but this film just leaves a 'what the ......?' feeling when the credits roll. The characters all blend into one another and by about half an hour in you really don't give a hoot about any of them. It was one of those movies where you sit there thinking naw, it will get better.
    The effects weren't creepy just annoying or a bit bizarre, and every time the cast opened their mouth to explain the plot I kept thinking is that it, so essentially we are all alone so we might as well curl up and die.
    You could tell when it was trying to be scary because the character would walk into a dark room & walk past the light switch, why? Or they would turn in slow motion, it's not scary it just looks like acting 101.
    I get what they were trying to say but to be honest unless you are doing a media studies degree give it a miss you won't get those 2 hours back.
