    Edie Falco is an amazing actress , I thought it would be hard to shake off seeing her as Carmela ( from The Sopranos) but no she plays this part brilliantly. This series is different from other hospital dramas as it doesn't focus mainly on the procedures of A and E but delves more into the characters . Nurse Jackie is an addict but she's also an amazing nurse and mother, Doctor Cooper is a prat but he's also a good doctor, Jackie is having an affair and manages to live this double life without the need for a moral justice line. Its good to see a woman in this role plus it's well written and funny. Excellent series - can't wait for more.
