    I was really looking forward to this remake, but I have to say, I was disappointed. I watched it through to the end, hoping it might improve or at least enable me to understand what the actors were trying to communicate, especially Jeff Bridges, whose verbal dialogue I found impossible to understand. Perhaps this is how they spoke in those days and the film attempts to be credible in this respect, but for the viewer, I'm afraid I found it very difficult to follow, let alone understand. This is why I give the film such a low marking. I might increase the rating to two stars, given I didn't recognize Matt Damon in his role, which says something about his acting or maybe my eyesight! Steer clear, unless you are happy not knowing what is being said.   1 out of 1 person found this review helpful
