    Universally slated by critics, proving once and for all that critics are sheep. This is the greatest pirate film of all time - a joy from start to finish - the first hour in particular. Escapism of the highest order, with performances full of conviction and a story that avoids the parody. A film that deserves your affection!   4 out of 4 people found this review helpful
