    I thought this was excellent. Its' such a well-written film and really conveys what life behind the iron curtain was like. The loneliness of the KGB officer is almost heartbreaking, as is the destruction of a woman who would rather betray her lover than live without acting. As with most foreign films, you don't notice trhe subtitles after a while so if you're in search of a good drama this is it.
