Absolutely riveting!!!
It was recommended to me, and didn't expect to like it this much. The acting is great, watching Liz Taylor play off against Paul Newman is an acting masterclass. Then in the second half of the film Burl Ives takes over with a powerful performance.
You can tell it comes from a play, but the acting and writing are so good it doesn't matter.
