  • Rush Hour 3 on DVD (2007)
Starring: Jackie Chan,  Chris Tucker,  Vinnie Jones
    Director: Brett Ratner
    Certificate: Certificate: 12
2007 was a strange year, the sequels that should of been great (Spiderman 3/Pirates 3) sucked but the ones that should of sucked (die hard 4.0) were unexpectedly great. Then there is Rush Hour 3, one of hose sequels we never actually wanted....and watching it last night for the first time I remembered why!

Its not Jackie, bless him, I could watch him chop socky all day even though in this he hardly fights at all (but its still nice that after all this time he still does his own stunts which is refreshing in a time of digital doubles)

No its the irritating loud obnoxious Chris Tucker, please pleas please hollywood listen. DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN ANOTHER MOVIE!! He gives me a headache and his stretch of emotions goes from screaming blue murder to leching on every female in the room.

The film itself is so bland and unimpressive with cardboard characters and one dimensional villans (except for one who is criminally under explored) and the only good bit was the climactic fight on the eiffel tower, although only for the 'how did they do that' factor.

God bless jackie but for god sake give him a new partner (owen wilson worked, jet li should be cool in their new film) or give him a quality martial arts movie of his own but for the love of god NOT TUCKER AGAIN, unless of course its the sequel we all want, CHRIS TUCKER MUST DIE!!! (only on screen of course)   2 out of 2 people found this review helpful
