Like others, I rented this thinking it was the new blockbuster. Like others, I found out, (way to late!!), that it was one of the worst films it has been my misfortune to rent! Think of the worst B movies you have ever watched, think of the worst 1970's/1980's American TV shows you've ever watched, combine them all, and you still would never reach the depths this movie plumbs! Obviously the 'director' was told, 'put the cool spaceship sounds from Independence Day in, put every cliche from both that, and other proper films, (the heroic coloured ace fighter pilot, female, the mysterious re-appearance of a 1940's lost flight etc etc), in fact, steal everything from every other picture, film it all on B grade film stock, give the 'actors' lots of running about dodging very unrealistic explosions, and perhaps the audience will not notice how uttery awful this movie is. I wasted 8 minutes of my life watching this, 8 minutes I will never get back, 8 minutes too long! Avoid this cesspool of a movie ay all costs! I have ticked the 'yes my review contains a spoiler button, honestly, trust me, you are missing nothing!
