[Highly rated reviewer]Although I haven't yet seen the DVD of this show, I have been following it closely on Sky. As a Tim Roth fan there was no way I was going to miss this show, but I was prepared to be disappointed with another CSI rip off... But I was very pleasantly surprised.
Although this show does occasionally seem formulaic (Each member of the team has their strengths and weaknesses that compliment each other a little too perfectly, and the new girl is 'sassy' and rocks the boat) overall, this is an excellent indroductory season to what looks to be a fantastic series, which is both technical and human.
One of the interesting things about this show is that it relates the facial expressions of the characters to stars and celebrities in the real world, so we're almost seeing these old events in a new light. I also like that the show doesn't get to technical and 'jargon-y', but rather points things out in an original, interesting and most of all, understandable manner.
This is a great series for any police drama fan, but it's also a good show for anyone interested in human nature and how we show ourselves to the world.

No word of a Lie, Lie to me is brillBy Kelsworth (1 review) , 21 Feb 2013Such an interesting drama. You learn a lot about reading micro facial expressions too. I've found myself looking at peoples faces more closely.
One of the best series ever made!By PcMacZone (4 reviews) from Hitchin, UK , 28 Dec 2012Have seen all three seasons of Lie To Me and was gutted they cancelled the show. Tim Roth is absolutely superb! This is a very classy, well made series and I would have no hesitation watching the whole thing again.
So So Good,Tim Roth We Love You!!!By haylesbaylespigstales (177 reviews) from Fleetwood , 16 Aug 2012I bl**dy love watching Tim Roth & in this series it's no different!!
Love that he's kept the brit accent & is still quirky & somewhat misunderstood by his american colleagues - always the case though - they just don't get us!!
This series is right up there with my other favourite - House, Hugh Laurie is just ACE, can't wait for the next series to come now - kept me gripped all evening

The next step in America/Brit Hybrid DramaBy seanXtastic (1 review) , 01 Jun 2012I love this program so much! I was addicted to House M. D for a while and now have fallen for Tim Roth and the superbly cast series.
It goes to show that the best combination for fascinating viewing is 'American' writers (this is to say I am unsure where the writers are from) and British Leading person. Unstoppable entertainment
