[Highly rated reviewer]It's not like the older series and scrubs just isn't the same without Zach Braff in every episode. Series 9 is quite funny but definitely doesn't have as many laugh-out-loud moments as previous episodes! I would say that it is worth a rental if you're a great fan of the programme :)
Tough to follow (the old) scrubsBy a customer , 31 Jul 2013This is a tough one. I feel like i've lost my friends and tried to replace them with new ones. Its never the same. Even though some of the new cast are quite funny it doesn't give me the same laughs. I hate the cole character, that alone is enough to put me off. If this was a brand new series it might be ok but not a replacement for the old scrubs.

Enough for nowBy a customer , 12 Sep 2011Having been hooked, rather late, on Scrubs, watching the episodes virtually `back to back` to catch up, I was stopped in my tracks by series 9. Up to this point I found Scrubs to be among the best examples of American television, sharp, witty, brilliantly acted and directed and on top of that, finding myself loving the characters - and I'm not usually hooked in by a tv series, unless it's really on the ball.
I understand how all things must pass and in Scrubs they have done just that, tracking `real life`. A new hospital, a new intake of trainees, staff retiring, moving on etc. I just don't care as much for the new characters as I did, pretty much instantly, for the old ones and, as far as series 9 goes, I am letting it go halfway through. I don't want to watch anymore of this one. I'll try and catch a few of the latest on satellite tv to see if I am just being a fussy old f*rt, after all, everyone deserves a second chance, which is what doctors are all about.
