A man and a dog are killed on the shores of Loch Ness and it seems to be the Monster. A local author and his wife agree to help Simon keep watch for it but he finds a ruined castle with a cellar. Inside are gas tanks and a huge club. Then someone tries to kill him. Has someone created a fake monster? But why?
