Poor acting, dismal plotline and shoddy direction help ot make this one of the most unwatchable series ever to air. the special effect are more 'special needs' effects and as for the mutant powers... as a blatant X-men rip off attempt, it some how manages to miss out the X factor in every area of its production!- Was this review helpful to you?

Budget of 50 Dollars
By a customer , 10 Jun 2011I have to say that I expected more from this. The acting is very poor and the slow motion fighting clearly shows them missing each other!! The sets are also extremely amateur. However, the storyline shows promise so I might persevere for a few more epospdes!!

The idea and story line are good adaptations. it's not easy to adapt things succesfully. it's well worth a watch when you got some time to kill. It's entertainment pure and simple. I have watched all the episodes over and over. In my opinion they cut it way 2 eirly. I saw the eairly episodes of hero's and thought they were bad. It wasent till l8r in the season that things got better.. the same for mutant x if ya like the whole mutant idea you'll have a blast. if ya more concerned with the effects and acting give it a miss!- Was this review helpful to you?

Not worth it
By a customer from London , 06 Mar 2011I am usually a fan of sci-fi but in this case acting is horrible, special effects are horrible and even the fighting scenes are pathetic.
It is unbelievable that this series got to air with this pilot.
If you watch this please take notice how obvious it is that the actors fall down in the fighting scenes without getting touched. It is that bad!
