By a customer , 30 Mar 2013My favourite episode from this season! It's very different to most of Steven Moffat's episodes, dropping the scares and showing a rare softer touch to his writing. David Tennant and Billie Piper are excellent together as usual - there's an especially fun scene between the two of them when the Doctor pretends to be drunk! Noel Clarke makes a good addition to the regular cast as Mickey, while Sophie Myles puts in a strong performance as Madame de Pompadour (whose story loosely mimics Amy's in Season five)- Was this review helpful to you?
