Red Dwarf - S07 E01 - Tikka to Ride

The last brilliant episode of Red Dwarf. A really promising start to Season 7, but it fell off a cliff after Tikka To Ride...

Such a shame a great series such as series 6 (the best in my opinion) had to be followed up by such a rubbish attempt at 'renewing' one of the best British comedies ever made. They should have spent a little more time to try and link the end of series 6 to 7, i mean we deserved it after having being absent for over 5 years. It was the least they could do.

I remember being 7 years old and the only Red Dwarf episodes i had were of series 6 on video. I used to watch them time and time again, and was so sad to see the way the series had ended...i always hoped it would come back onto our screens, but i was very doubtfull, especially after hearing about the Craig Charles trail that was going on at the time (won'tr go into details).

But then finally after 5 years of watching the repeats of RD on tv a new series was to be aired. I was so excited! and so was everybody else i bet..but within 5 minutes of watching the first episode of series 7 i had given up interest in the saga. I don't think i ever followed it properly after this one. Such a shame...
