Classic political thriller

A BBC classic from the 90's. Ian Richardson is superb as the cultivated and smooth talking chief whip with designs on higher office. Quite shakespearian in it's plotting, very obvious parallels with Macbeth. Bodies soon start littering the stage.- Was this review helpful to you?
