Top gear is one the best motoring shows on the planet today, not only for its ability to showcase some of the worlds best cars but also because the team always endeavor to make Top Gear specials 'special'. The race with the Bugatti Veyron through Europe, the journey through Vietnam on motorcycles to this incredible, and by far the best special so far, the journey to the North Pole.
Even for Top Gear this challenge is off the scale, and the true realization of what they were actually attempting didnt quite hit home until half way through, giving this particular special an incredible insight into polar AND technological exploration whilst delivering the standard Top Gear level of comical attributes, and an incredibly entertaining look into what 99% of human civilization will never come near to experiencing.
This special, the Top Gear presenters AND the team behind them deserve every bit of the recognition and applause given to them, it is a truly wondrous and stunning display of man and machine versus one of the planets fiercest landscapes.- Was this review helpful to you?
