Legend Of The seeker

While some reviews are mixed I find that it is better to view the program and give it a go. For me this was an excellent program while none of the characters were big names or well known, this is what made this an excellent series and one that I would recommend to any that likes these genres. Also the actors were well played, the program keeps you well entertained and at the same time keeps you hooked on what next.- Was this review helpful to you?

Go read the books.
By a customer , 30 May 2013If you've read the books, go read them again, don't bother watching this. If you haven't read the books, go read them. This had so much potential, but it was sadly wasted. Hopefully HBO will pick up the rights and treat the series with the same respect they are on Game of Thrones. Yes, there are things you have to change when bringing a book to TV, but Legend of the Seeker is not the way to do it.- Was this review helpful to you?

half an episode in and I'd seen enough
By MattJamie (7 reviews) , 30 May 2013Perhaps this is more my own prejudice here, but I couldn't take any of this seriously - melodramatic script and performances, shiny costumes and crisp US accents just didn't hold my attention or make me care for anyone in this at all. I suggest heading over to VIKINGS as a much more gritty and well crafted bit of fantasy/history TV.- Was this review helpful to you?

A Nice Opener

There is no assumed knowledge as there sometimes can be with adaptations from books. I have never herd of the books it is based from so I don't no how much it stuck to them.
