Great way to progress if you've tried PilatesBy a customer from Stockport, England , 11 Jan 2006
[Highly rated reviewer]Nothing unexpected, it's a case of finding the time and the place and getting on with it.
Boring, but good instructionBy a customer , 02 Apr 2012Lots of instruction to help do the exercises correctly, but SOOOOOO boring. The guy lacks enthusiasm, so I wouldn't watch this DVD again. I have average core fitness and I didn't really 'feel the burn' with this DVD as it moves quite slowly and didn't do enough reps of each exercise. Despite this, I think people newer to pilates or who aren't very fit would get something out of this DVD if they can bear the dry presentation.
Overall, I think the DVD would be much more appealing if there was a little encouragement/enthusiasm on the part of the presenter!
UninvitingBy a customer from Liverpool , 14 Oct 2008Pilates made boring. No music, basic set. Really poor production quality. A proud pilates instructor showing off his two best students. I found this dvd extremely disappointing and boring, boring, boring. I am a regular home exerciser but nothing could make me finish this dvd.
AWFULLBy a customer from Norfolk , 16 Mar 2006If you are interested in all pilates moves fine but dont expect enthusiasm from this dvd. Very basic presentation, lacking all the encouragement and excitment a workout dvd requires to make it sellable and usable. I was extreemly bored with this and only watched it. I couldn't bring myself to actually do this dvd, not because it is too challenging because pilates is as challenging as you want to make it, but because the presentation is so very boring. I knew i would get bored very quickly and use one of the other pilates dvd's that i have. In other words rent it don't buy it so you can see what I mean
