I Love Still GameBy Marie Ebblewhite from England , 03 Nov 2006
[Highly rated reviewer]As with all the series before it, this is a classic in the making, brilliantly written and brilliantly acted, never losing it's path and probably the only sit-com worth watching nowadays. I have bought every single series as I can watch it again and again and it's still as funny. If you aren't familiar with Still Game, I think the best way to describe it, is like Last of the Summer Wine with swearing and more storyline than a bath on wheels. It's last of the summer wines, big, bad brother, well really the only comparison is, is that it centres on old people. If you're tired of all this twee comedy that's out now, then I suggest you give Still Game a look, you won't be disappointed.

Mon the ScotBy henduilglon (9 reviews) , 06 Apr 2011To put it simply, Still game has always been good, funny and entertaining.Although, being Scottish myself, I may be a tad wee bit bias lol.
However this season in my opinion, is the best so far. More effort seems to have been put into its storyline, making it definitely the funniest one yet. And unlike the previous seasons I never found any of the episodes boring to watch
So come on yers all... come see the SCOTS!
Still 5 stars but reaching it's peak.By H0LLIE (198 reviews) from UK , 01 Aug 2010I was a little dubious about a sketch getting a full show and found myself proven wrong when series 1 turned out to be fantastic, then series 2, 3, and 4 continued the laughs, and now we have series 5 - and it's as fresh and funny as ever.
This fifth series has 6 episodes, featuring storylines regarding alchohol, DIY, getting older, the pub, and moving home. So basically - realistic situations faced by the elderly put forth in an entertaining manner which really makes you think... but not too much. A lot like the first 4 series but still entirely new and origional.
The only problem is that, once again, the 'play all' option forces you to sit through the opening and closing credits every time, so be ready with the fast forward every twenty odd minutes.
Highly recommended, though the English may need the odd translation here and there.
