Tracking down alien life on Earth,By JediSi (301 reviews) from Kent , 08 Sep 2007
[Highly rated reviewer]Torchwood is a spin-off from the highly popular 'Doctor Who' series. The series is about a group of renegade investigators of alien and human crime located in Cardiff in Wales. Starring John Barrowman as Captain Jack Harkness, and Eve Myles as his sidekick Gwen Cooper.
The separated Torchwood team is at the mercy of hunters, playing a game of cat and mouse in an old village in the Brecon Beacons.
Greeks Bearing Gifts:
Faced with sudden telepathic abilities, Toshiko finds a mixed blessing when the dark secrets of others are revealed to her. A murderous telepathic alien seeking return home is defeated.
They Keep Killing Suzie:
Torchwood investigates a serial killer writing their name in blood over the bodies of their victims, but there is even more to this than meets the eye.
A hit-and-run victim (Eugene), obsessed with aliens in life, realises only one person can solve the mystery of his death: Gwen Cooper.

Stop referring to this as Dr Who - it's not !By vanilla_quiff (284 reviews) from Gatwick, England , 08 May 2011Stop referring to it as Doctor bloody Who ! This is a fantastic, original series of it's own right.
And bloody SUPERB I must say - great issues, stories and characters.
Adult Doctor WhoBy Randomfilmbuff (327 reviews) from London , 05 Feb 2010I prefer this to the doc and think most episodes are great but there aare a couple of dodgy ones
Also dont like the dvd format of the first series
4 starBy a customer from Worcester , 19 Dec 2009The series continues to shock and suprise you with it's blend of sifi/aliens and home grown horror. Captain Harkness heads the team that fearlessly go forth and try to protect our world at some cost to themselves. Great fun to watch.
TorchwoodBy Angiee (100 reviews) from Solihull , 05 Sep 2009I'd forgotten how amateurish and stilted the acting was in the first series. Nevertheless. John Barrownman and his crew put on a fab show. Good if only to remind fans how far the series has come!
Exciting mix of gadgets, aliens and character stories. Give it a go.
TorchwoodBy a customer from Brighton , 27 Mar 2009OK - and I enjoyed seeing the series I had missed but maybe I saw too many?
