Three strikes, you're out!By a customer from Edinburgh , 08 Jul 2007
[Highly rated reviewer]As an avid fan of Secret Life, I was disappointed by the third installment.
I don't think the show recovered from the sudden disappearance of some great characters (jason, alex, miranda). There replacements were good, but not great.
A lot of season three didn't produce great stories: nothing along the lines of alex having an affair with jason, richie discovering he's gay, alex becoming pregnant or gab having an affair with a married man. Compare that to evan screwing over another girl, kelly going to uni and becoming a sponsored sister and richie possibly fathering another woman's child - to me it wasn't on the same scale.
Don't get me wrong - there was laughs and tears along the way, and a happy ending was had by all, albeit slightly predictable.

Pretty goodBy zeitnot (8 reviews) from Reading , 18 Jul 2009We were already hooked on this series so had to see what happened next. Sadly it isn't as punchy as the first two series but watchable all the same

THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS Show review anywayHideSeries one - the most amazing thing to come out of australia since Rolf Harris (no irony intended - the man is a genius). Series 2 - just as excellent, top notch drama and insightful relationship story-telling at it's best. Series 3 - cracks starting to appear. plot lines are beginning to lack authenticity and some characters, although totally lovable, just don't seem to have a reason to be there. Shame a lot of the original cast have moved on - perhaps the magic spark that made this one of the most brilliant TV series ever went with them.
brilliantBy a customer from london, england , 08 Feb 2009this is really good to watch. the characters are engaging and will keep you hooked to the storylines.
