As work-outs go, this ...By a customer from CHORLEY , 05 Oct 2004
[Highly rated reviewer]As work-outs go, this is very cool. I love watching Bollywood movies, and now I'll be able to make an exhibition of myself when the dance scenes kick off!

The steps are a combination of classic Bollywood and Bhangra dance. It starts nice and easily with a few hand and arm movements, gradually getting more complex until you have a full-blown dance routine. It takes a while to get your head round the moves later in the DVD, but it is a lot of fun trying.

It's more aerobic than a lot of fitness videos, but if that's what you're looking for, or you want to get fit quickly, give this a try.

More like .....Boringwood...By lollypie75 (119 reviews) from Harlow , 18 Sep 2009Didnt enjoy this, I thought it was going to be alot better.
Althought there is a comedy bit at the back of the dvd, the advanced dance is so funny. The presenter of the dvd mimes to a song and well lets just say that was the highlight of the whole dvd.
good workout boring lectureBy Fussypot (56 reviews) from Wales , 02 Jul 2008The review title says it all. The first 10 minutes or so which you cannot fast forward tells you what you should or should not do and how to exercise. OK first time round perhaps but not every time you use the DVD! The workout was quite hard work though and well paced.
Customer ReviewBy a customer from UK , 23 Jun 2008This fun DVD is presented by top British Asian choreographer, Honey Kalaria. Being a die hard fan of Bollywood cinema, I was anxious to try this DVD and wasn't left disappointed. The graphics at the beginning and end of the DVD are very colourful and reminiscent of many Bollywood films. It begins with an introduction from Honey, who then goes on to show several useful moves before the workouts begin. She is a very friendly and encouraging teacher. This will undoubtedly prove to be useful for dancers who are not already familiar with Indian routines. The warm up and cool down cover all possible body parts and really do work well. The Bollywood and Bhangra workout sessions are simple and easy to follow, but be careful not to overdo it if you are a beginner. I initially found it hard to keep up with, but began seeing great results after several weeks practice. Be warned beforehand, do not attempt any of Honey's difficult stretches unless you're trained in dance or yoga (which I'm not so I don't do them!). The final advanced dance section doesn't have any previous instructions, but is only an amalgamation of the earlier choreography. Although the production values are low, don't dismiss this because it certainly gives you a worthwhile workout!
