Excellent second seriesBy Parker (2 reviews) from Knaresborough , 13 Jan 2008
[Highly rated reviewer]Having watched the first series in full I was keen to get my hands on the final series and couldn't wait until Bravo aired them. If you're like me and are more interested in the combat plots rather than the home lives of combat soldiors you will be pleased to see more of that in this series than the last. Combat zones include Afgan, China, a US school, South America and flash backs to Unit recruitment. I think this series is excellent and didn't find any episode dissapointing.

The UnitBy a customer , 13 May 2011All action series, quite predictable really, but quite like the idea of a few very good looking, highly trained and dangerous blokes roaming around causing mayhem and disappearing into the sunset.
Season 2By KHRANDRASS (163 reviews) from Cheadle , 24 Sep 2009They are the Unit, a covert special forces team operating outside the usual military chain of command, risking their lives on undercover missions at home and abroad.
Their identities are highly classified, a secret that's also fiercely guarded by their wives.
But despite the men's determination to protect their families from the dangers of the job, they've learned that the enemy they have defeated in the field is also capable of bringing the fight right back to their own front door.
The Unit series'By bigcheeks (1 review) from Colchester , 08 Jul 2009I came across The Unit on this website and thought, great an all action special forces shoot me up - a US version of our Ultimate Force, but bolder. Series 1 was fine, however, the more episodes you view the less action you actually see. Frustrating mini episodes on family life or the home front and the trials and tribulations of army wifes really does dilute what I'd expect to be a flash, bang, wallop of a special forces all action series.
the unit season 2 disc 1By leyley (29 reviews) from Coleraine , 09 Apr 2009still very edge of you seat stuff loving every minute of it.
Cheesy goodnessBy Charlie2513 (8 reviews) from Llantwit Major , 02 Apr 2009The Unit is one of my favourite boxsets around (third only to The Wire and The Sopranos). Season Two does focus a little more on the wives which is a bit of a let down, and they attempt to develop the characters a little more than in Season One, which means lots of deep and meaningful moments but comes thoroughly recommended!! It's not thought provoking, or particularly clever but extremely entertaining and slightly more realistic then some SF series.
