[Highly rated reviewer]My son, 8 years watched this over and over again which must be good!
DisappointingBy FrightfulBish (1 review) from Worthing , 05 Feb 2009We'd seen trailers for this for years and it looked very funny. Alas, it was very pedestrian and only mildly amusing at best. That's a shame as the characters seemed to have a lot of potential.
Essentially it is a series of short computer-animated episodes, presumably shown on (American?) TV at some point, involving ducks and alligators living in neighbouring towns. The humour involves the unlikely friendship that forms between individuals from the two communities and their attempts to live peacefully together.
Unfortunately there's no real spark of imagination or wit beyond that. The ducks are less endearing than they promise to be, and the whole thing falls rather flat despite one or two entertaining moments. Very young children may enjoy it, but most parents will be yawning before the second episode starts.
Do yourself a favour and get Tom and Jerry or the Pink Panther instead.
POORBy ROB from Dumfries , 31 Oct 2005This video is extremely bad. Bizarre storylines fixated around talking crocodiles eating smart arse ducks. Bad animation that tries too hard and fails.
Stick to the other goodies that are out there.
