Billy Connolly

Potty mouthed Billy Connolly was born on the 24th of December in Glasgow, 1942. He has changed career many times, starting as a welder in the 1960s, a folk singer in the 1970s and then into a comedian and an actor. He won a BAFTA for his role in Mrs Brown (1997) and his last appearance of note was in The X-Files: I Want to Believe (2008).

Married to comedienne turned pyschologist Pamela Stephenson, he has several children and remains Scotland's premier funnyman. He sports amusing facial hair.
