I was unsure whether to watch this title as it had been portrayed as a drama, but im so glad i watched it. I give it a 5/5 because it kept me interested throughout from the fight scenes to the more touching moments i also think Val Kilmer was a pleasure to watch.

What a total suprise, not exactly a chick flick and you wouldnt fancy a stint in prison after watching it but it grips you from 5 mins in all th way to the finish. Great!

Gripping prison drama, well acted, well directed and well written. The stand out performance is Val Kilmer, although there is no weak link in the rest of the cast. The film is quite heavy going, the anti chick flick. The best film i've watched since The Dark Knight.

My god! Old Val Kilmer has piled on the timber and looks remarkably like Jim Royal from the Royal Family in this predictable violent no brainer of a 'survive at all costs 'prison flick. What grabbed my attention though was the fantastic tattoos sported by the various fractions of inmates,so much so that ime off to the library to see if there is a book on these sort of designs. This film delivers as its title suggests.
