this is a good intro for new x-file fans.but with the last eposide on disc 2-rain-maker:it finds it's depth again.

i recommend series 2 and 4 as the best.

Great start to the series. Had forgotten just how good the X Files was, great mixture of comedic episodes and conspiracy. Cant wait for the rest!

Rated - 4 starsMore alien conspiracy

This season promised to be one of the best ever. It narrowly fails. It starts off brilliantly and continues from Season 5 but a few weak episodes in-between makes you wonder where the show is going. However the 'secret men' working behind the scenes ingnite this season into new levels where we see Mulder & Scully left alone to fight unseen forces in the government. Sadly (and for reasons unknown), this plot ends during the season so things end on an anti-climax.

Rated - 5 starsFunny series

After the darkness of Season 5, and the subsequent X-Files Movie, Season 6 gets off to a strange start by crowbaring and brushing over the events from the film. Moulder and Scully are now working on background checks rather than the now burned down CSM X-Files. Although they are not meant to do it, they still go on investigating X-files as they prop up. So far this series concentrates more on the stand-alone episodes and there is a great wit to them, well written and funny. Very enjoyable!!
