Brief synopsis of X-Files 2 - I Want to Believe - BLU-RAY Version

The supernatural thriller is a stand-alone story in the tradition of some of the show's most acclaimed and beloved episodes, and takes the always-complicated relationship between Fox Mulder (Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Anderson) in unexpected directions. Mulder continues his unshakable quest for the truth, and Scully, the passionate, ferociously intelligent physician, remains inextricably tied to Mulder's pursuits.

I have always been an X Files fan and therefor found the 2nd cinema release worthy of checking out.

This film delivers a weak stand alone extended episode but I would have liked to see it based on the extra terrestrial mythology that made the show so popular.

The script is boring and not very exciting and the sub plot is a complete waste of time.

The film has no sense of scale or grandeur and is a far weaker effort than the 1st movie.

Worth checking out if you too were a fan of the series.
