Brief synopsis of Crazy As Hell

Unconventional psychotherapist Dr. Ty Adams (Michael Beach) takes residence at Sedah State Mental Hospital where he will be filmed by documentarian Parker (John C. McGinley) for a film on his methods of non-medicinal approach to treatment. Dr. Adams' confidence is offset by the recent loss of his wife and young daughter. He soon meets his ultimate professional challenge, however, in the form of a stranger claiming to be Satan (Eriq La Salle). Satan is intelligent and insightful, and before long, Dr. Adams will find himself involved in a maddening game of role-reversal. An engaging psycho-thriller, CRAZY AS HELL was co-written by Jeremy Leven, based on his 1982 novel SATAN: HIS PSYCHOTHERAPY AND CURE BY THE UNFORTUNATE DR. KASSLER, J.S.P.S.

Well this film was a major let down. From the title, description and the picture on the cover i was expecting a scary psychological thriller, instead i got a long, boring, drawn out story, that was as interesting as a wet sunday afternoon. I would avoid this movie at all costs and on top of it, there were no extras at all. Not even scene selections. Will probably serve better as a coaster.

I didn't really understand this film, there were some things that didn't add up to me. It wasn't particularly petrifying either. However, don't be put off, you might understand it better than I have.

I agree with Roo#5, this film sucked. I was also expecting this film to be a scary thriller. The fact that it's set in a mental hospital, called 'Crazy As Hell' and has the evil looking picture on the front, gives you a false expectation of what it's about. Instead, you get a mini psycho drama, not scary, not interesting and lacking suspense in every sense of the word.

<p>

You'd have a better time spending 90 minutes watching paint dry.
