This true account was very well acted, with a really beleivable story line. Even if you never knew the era it is set in, you would enjoy it. Family values and religious faith are offset against the challenges of a changing moral climate. The film has a really happy ending, and a surprise appearance of the real people being depicted. And their records are still selling over 40 years after starting!

a long awaited[in my case] look at how the osmond family worked. they are still the best pop/rock group from that era. shows that they were normal after all and not some strange religeous family.

Rated - 5 starsPart of my childhood

The Osmonds were a part of my childhood. I can remember being 9 years old and zooming to the sofa to watch them. Now nearly 40 years old still like their music and loved this story about how they started out on the Andy Williams show. Then wanting to become rocks stars. How they set aside their music to work together on the Donny and Marie shows and the older brothers having to take a back seat. And finally losing everything. Theres a nice surprise right at the end too. Great biopic film for any Osmond fan. And also a still brilliant film for any one who isn't.
