If you're a fan of The Godfather trilogy, get this DVD right now! It is loaded with features and cut scenes from the movies, commentaries, pictures, more details concerning the whole storyline. It has more than 2 hours of bonus features.

Most of the material was made for TV documentaries so the quality is very good. Lots of interesting

background information and the story about the direction/casting for the first movie is now part of

film-making legend. The casting footage of the young unknown Pacino, Keaton, De Niro, etc is worth

it alone. Not essential viewing, but if you are a fan of the trilogy its worth watching.

My favourite film of all time. The bonus materials was a little disappointing. Would liked to have seen more footage & interviews with the principle characters.

A fascinating insight into the problems that were experienced choosing the actors for the film, the pressure on the Director regarding Marlon Brando and the thoughts of the Director.
