A fictional take on The Jack the ripper murder's following the story of a young girl who wants to be a journalist, in a society where women weren't suppossed to work, so explores the theme of womens suffarage too.

Also a surprising twist at end, but don't expect historical accuracy in the case of the murders.

A totally predictable ending to a worn out plot. The screenwriters have no idea of 19th Century history in England. I ask you; A 'telegram' boy (huh?) on an 18th century wooden bicyle; Female workers picketing and harassing the gentry without getting hauled into jail and protesting about 'sweatshops' a word that wasn't even coined until the late 20th century and gentlewomen walking unescorted through London docklands. Is Faye Dunawaye now so desperate for work that she lends her name and skills to such a no-hoper? My advice? Give it a miss unless you are incredibly naive or brain dead. By the way, can you award minus stars?
