Here, Casper the Friendly Ghost is doing his bit to make Whipstaff Manor a homelier place for lonely Christina Ricci to live, but it's his ghoulish uncles Stretch, Stinkie and Fatso who scare up all the fun in this enchanting family comedy. Although the movie is dominated by special effects, Cathy Moriarty's hissable villainy nearly steals the show. Once just won't be enough for most youngsters.
