This is a very thought provoking series very well acted by some of the UK's best actors. A whole range of emotions are encountered. It makes you want to go back to the original Chaucer and compare!

Rated - 5 starsBawdy Chaucerian Goodness

Most people don't realise how bawdy Chaucer is, but these new adaptations from the BBC will dispel any notions of stuffiness you might have. The Miller's Tale is an hilarious tale of deceit and dishonesty; The Wife of Bath's Tale cleverly handles one of the tougher adaptations and is a gorgeous story of age and love (with some very naughty bits); and The Knight's Tale is a poignant story of love and redemption. A lot of fun, a lot of sex and a lot for Chaucer lovers and Chaucer virgins alike.
