A masterpiece of overstatement and a gem of a film. The boobmaniac Meyer is the best at his craft. His films were fun not sleazy, entertainment for big boys and girls too. Everything you ever wanted is iin this and in most of his blockbusters- but keep an open mind and remember it is just for FUN.

As far as (s)exploitation movies go, this one is unassailable. The plot - a whodunnit of sorts - is pretty much incidental and really the key attraction of this movie is an overload of massive chests and pubic hair with the odd dose of sexual depravity thrown in (particularly at the start). However, much as I like the girls in this one, I thought the nudity went a little overboard - I mean, every scene?? Even accounting for my own leering tendencies, that proved to be a little tiresome. Russ Meyer definitely had his fixations which he wasn't exactly bashful about exploring in his films. This is best seen with a bunch of depraved buddies and a several crates of beer nearby.

Rated - 3 starsGoodness gracious this is a strange film.

And I thought Beyond the Valley of the Dolls was a bit out there.

Enormous breasts, extreme close ups, ludicrously verbose dialogue, utterly insane plot. A great night in. Russ Meyer is a genre unto himself: impossible to sum up in words, yet instantly unmistakeable on film.

This is Meyer at his very best, so over the top it's not true and totally UNCUT!

A totally unbelieveable story, trying to change the history of the world using

the most obscure charactors from the past.Whips, torture and large breasts

abound. Have a helping of this but don't show it to your maiden aunt!
