Island Of The Damned on DVD (2005)

What can i say about this film? A total waste of my night! Its cheap,the music is,well,i can`t even describe it,the picture quality is poor,the best actors are the dead man in the shed and the animal in the box which you never actually see during the whole film. I did chuckle when I found out what she was hiding upstairs,but the whole time I kept thinking this can`t get any worse can it? I didn`t even want to rate it one star. Its so bad you have to watch it to believe it! Hope this review helps,if you hate it as much as I do please let everyone know. Ps I thought it was supposed to be a horror?

Please do not waste your time in watching this film,there is not 1 thing in it warranting it to be a cert 18 or a horror and it is shockingly crap acting,plot,filming......god what a waste of time!Best thing in it is cyndi lauper's singing,although cannot understand why she allowed it to be used in such a rubbish film.

This is the worst film I have ever seen in my life by quite some margin. The 'acting' is terrible - there is no plot and I hope all actors/ writers etc involved are ashamed !

Please - spread the word - dont let other poor unsuspecting people suffer the fate of seeing this - if rental companies had a heart they would remove this title in the public interest !!

I rented this title not knowing anything about it. I thought it might be some cool horror film that had by-passed cinemas and come straight onto video. Alas I was mistaken - this is a "thriller" which isn't very thrilling. It moves along at such a slow pace I thought I was going to fall asleep (which I almost did)!

The plot is about 2 men who get washed up on an island, where they meet a mysterious woman who appears to be hiding a secret. They uncover what this secret is and....well to be honest I wasn't really that bothered by then. I had lost all interest for this film.

The director has only made this one film, which is probably a good thing. She should be banned from ever inflicting a film as bad as this onto an unsuspecting public.

Take my advice and avoid this at all costs....unless you have trouble sleeping!
